COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course provides a practical overview of pavement engineering giving useful advice on a wide range of related topics.  Time does not permit the course presenter to discuss detailed design programmes .

The course looks at the practical aspects involved in road pavement engineering and includes rehabilitation as well as new road pavements. 

THIS IS NOT A HIGH-LEVEL COURSE.  It is aimed at young engineers and technicians, as well as those seeking a ‘refresher’ in this field.  The seminar will benefit individuals as well as employers in the following groups:

Roads authorities

Municipalities

Consultants

Contractors

Funding agencies
