ABOUT THE COURSE
The course will provide practitioners with a detailed and practical insight into the latest technologies being developed and investigated, for the sustainability of asphalt practice.
The course covers the latest local and international practice related to High Modulus Asphalt (EME); Highly Modified Asphalt (HiMA); Reclaimed Asphalt (RA) and Recycled Asphalt Pavements (RAP); Warm Mix Asphalt; and Bitumen Rubber Asphalt as well as bitumen Modifiers to improve performance.
As new information and technologies become available, the course will be modified to accommodate the changes.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Attendance of the course would be beneficial to practitioners representing road authorities, consulting engineers, contractors and suppliers involved in the design, production, construction and application of hot mix asphalt with a specific interest in the latest technologies developed to ensure sustainability.
The course is targeted at practitioners operating at NQF level 4 and above.

The Latest Development in Asphalt Technology Course is held under the auspices of SARF and the Asphalt Academy. All course notes, lunches and teas will be provided.
