Delegates from all over KZN have attended this Nuclear Course which was held at the KZN DOT Offices in Pietermaritzburg at their T2 Training Centre on 25th to 27th August 2015.
29 Delegates have attended the Nuclear Course. About a 60/40 male and female attendance were present.
Like all previous Nuclear Gauge Courses, the main eye opener for all of the delegates was the Safety Aspect which was of great concern amongst the group.
The Course was a great success and I think that more of the young Engineers and Engineering Technicians and Technologists should attend the Nuclear Gauge Course . It will not only help KZNDOT but will also help Department of Health, Directorate Radiation Control to give the latter the peace of mind that all the Nuclear Gauges in South Africa are at least in good, safe hands and that they are well looked after.
