- This course will provide the theoretical and very practical and hands on approach to the component of the proposed unit standards outcomes: “Execute nuclear gauge testing pertaining to granular and stabilised materials”
The course has been structured to be used as a unit standard as part of the revised Construction Materials Testing Learnerships at NQF levels 2 – 4 which are in the process of being registered and accredited with SAQA and CETA.
This course is seen as a stand alone module but could be considered as a supplementary module to the 6-module Materials Testers Course currently being presented by AsAc in association with the Cement and Concrete Institute.
Who should attend?
All persons involved in nuclear gauge testing of road construction materials for laboratory testing, including those wishing to refresh or increase their knowledge of the correct procedures for these test methods.
