Mr Jaco Cronje is currently responsible for Road and Storm Water asset Management at the City of Tshwane. Jaco has been in the engineering industry for more than 25 years, the last 20 of which have been in Road Asset Management.
He has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Technology and The Hanze University in Groningen, the Netherlands and an honours degree from the University of Pretoria. Jaco passion is the planned maintenance of roads, which also includes the rehabilitation of sinkholes within the City of Tshwane. Jaco represents Tshwane municipality on various national committees, including the National Road Traffic Engineering Technical Committee, where he can positively impact and give back to the industry.
