I was a Control Engineering Technician under Transport Infrastructure and Regional Services. I obtained my national diploma in 2019 and my B-Tech degree in June 2012 at Durban University of Technology. I obtained my BSc (Honours) in Applied Science: Transportation Planning at the University of Pretoria, focussing on Pavement and Road Rehabilitation.
I joined the Department in January 2010. I’m currently the Chairperson of the South African Road Federation KZN committee. I also serve a member of Road Materials Committee and KwaZulu-Natal Department of Transport Smart Road Safety Work Stream Leader.
I support the Departmental Road Rehabilitation programme and am responsible for the mentorship of candidates, contract administration, and research and development. I have been appointed to represent the Department in the COTO Materials Testing Committee.
